Jim Nakagawa
EVp, CFO & Treasurer – EQ Office, ShopCore Properties, and ROIC
Mr. Nakgawa serves as EVP, Chief Financial Officer of EQ Office, ShopCore Properties, and ROIC.
He joined ShopCore’s predecessor in 1994 and has over 30 years of commercial and retail real estate experience.
A seasoned financial leader, Mr. Nakagawa previously served as Chief Financial Officer for several publicly traded companies, including Excel Trust Corporation, Price Legacy Corporation and Excel Legacy Corporation. Prior to those roles, Mr. Nakagawa was a manager at Coopers & Lybrand LLP.
Mr. Nakagawa received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from San Diego State University, where he served on the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy Advisory Board. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA, the California Society of CPAs and Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC).
